- Positioning of manual call points

- Calculation of standby battery capacity

Course Aims
- Give delegates a good understanding of the recommendations contained within BS 5839-1:2017.
- Know the different fire system categories.
- Be able to design a basic fire detection & alarm system.
- Understand the importance of false alarm management.
Delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance in addition to course notes, checklists, model procedures and sample forms. Those attending will be expected to take an interactive part in the training course, with practical exercises for both group and individual participation. Exercises are based on situations that may arise with a company installing and maintaining electronic fire systems.
