/ Design Installation and Maintenance of Access Control Systems

Introduction

A sound knowledge of the requirements contained in NCP 109 is vital if organisations wish to maintain a high standard of design, installation and maintenance of Access Control installations. NCP109 is a recently issued NSI Code of Practice, compliance with which became mandatory on 1st September 2013. Although many of the requirements previously contained within NACP/ICP 30 remain in NCP 109, as a result of industry consultation and the need to embrace new technologies etc., there are now a number of additional features included.
