New to the Standards Download page?

NSI is delighted to offer an electronic British Standards Subscription Service in conjunction with the British Standards Institution (BSI).  This service is exclusively available to NSI approved companies, applicants and those seriously interested in gaining NSI approval. The Standards accessible through this service relate to NSI approval schemes only – you will not have access to the full library of British Standards.

Subscribing to NSI’s Standards Subscription Service will provide you with significant cost savings compared with purchasing individual Standards directly from BSI or other sources.  You may subscribe to any of the Standards available under the License Agreement between BSI and NSI.

Once payment has been received by NSI, you will be given 12 months access to the Standards from the date your subscription is activated.

Please note: The fee entitles you to download, view and save the Standards to one designated desktop only within your organisation.  Standards are not printable and must not be saved on an internal system (intranet) or external network or website.  In addition, Standards must not be copied or transferred to any other device via an internal system (intranet) to any colleague/associate within or outside your organisation, without prior permission from BSI. (See full Terms and Conditions). The subscription is for a 12 month duration however as part of the terms for supplying this service, BSI require that the Standards are downloaded on a quarterly basis.

NSI is currently unable to offer BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition), via this subscription service, due to a shared copyright restriction.  To obtain a copy of this Standard, please contact BSI directly.
