Access To British Standards Online
Having the appropriate standard or standards to hand is clearly an essential precursor to compliance. In conjunction with the British Standards Institution (BSI), NSI offers the ability for individuals from NSI approved companies and applicant companies to purchase electronic versions online in read-only format. For an annual fee, individuals can download the range of standards which are relevant to NSI approval schemes.

Please note: The fee entitles you to download, view and save the Standards to one designated desktop only within your organisation. Standards are not printable and must not be saved on an internal system (intranet) or external network or website. In addition, Standards must not be copied or transferred to any other device via an internal system (intranet) to any colleague/associate within or outside your organisation, without prior permission from BSI. (See full Terms and Conditions). The subscription is for a 12 month duration however as part of the terms for supplying this service, BSI require that the Standards are downloaded on a quarterly basis.
(NSI is currently unable to offer BS 7671Requirements for Electrical Installations IEE Wiring Regulations Seventeenth Edition, via this subscription service, due to a shared copyright restriction. To obtain a copy of this Standard, please contact BSI directly).
Sales of Certificates of Compliance
The NSI rules for the Certificates of Compliance for end users via security providers are included in the terms and conditions sent to companies upon achieving approval.
Once approved you may purchase Certificates of Compliance via the Company Log-in area.
In addition for NSI/BAFE schemes Certificates of Compliance are also available via the Company Log-In area to our BAFE approved companies dependant on the scheme. Modification, Modular and Conformity Certificates are also available.
